Once a haven for wounded tigers and dolphins, the theme park once known as Marine World Africa USA is now owned by Six Flags and called Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. (Which name is more ridiculous? They're about even, I'd say.) With the new ownership came rides and heavy-handed marketing campaigns, but when push comes to shove Marine World -- or, if you prefer, the Kingdom -- is still the best place in the Bay Area to see a cool whale show and ride an elephant.
