America's (dogs') playground

Point Isabel Regional Shoreline is one of those great, rare places that caters to dogs and their humans at the same time. The 21 acre park has plenty of room for dogs to run, roll, sniff, swim and play off-leash, plus lots of landscaping so humans aren't sweating in a shadeless veldt all day. Best of all, after your run you can haul your filthy friend back to Mudpuppy's Tub and Scrub for a bath (your participation optional) and coffee and biscuits at the next-door Sit and Stay Cafe.
