In the heart of the Castro

What I love most about Harvey's is that they provide diner-sized portions of diner-hearty food in a much cleaner, cozier atmosphere than you'll find in the average diner. Located, as their sign claims, in the heart of the Castro, this Mecca of man-food is a Castro institution, and not just because it's named after the late great Harvey Milk. They also serve brunch until 3:00 every day, which in the Castro is kind of like handing out a free pot of gold with every meal.
