The SF Library is being gradually overhauled, branch by branch. Most recently, the Noe Valley branch re-opened after a two year construction process, and it's gorgeous. If your date loves books, architecture or both, take him or her to this building to check out the beautiful ornamental ceilings and the newly emphasized Spanish-style facade.
