The Bay Area Bird Hospital treats birds, of course, as well as reptiles, rabbits, rodents and "small exotic mammals." Could come in handy if your date is a tiny, foreign person, but they probably just mean ferrets and stuff. Still, this is a cool resource for bird owners, and since pirates are all the rage in SF, picking up a parrot might not be such a bad start on your road to romance. Yarr!
