Recently opened under new management, Ruby Hill Winery has been in Pleasanton since 1887. (That's 1787 in Napa years, and 1408 in Europe years.) After a successful grand opening, the winery is getting down to the business of making several excellent varieties. The spacious tasting room has comfy couches in front of the fire, and sells a variety of logo-stamped gifts, as well as bottles of wine, sparkling wine and port.
