If you loved The Thin Man or The Maltese Falcon then you are a Dashiell Hammett fan. Whether you read his original novels or the movies that later arose from them, you can't deny that the man knew how to create a complex, gripping story and strong, fascinating characters.
That's why we're so delighted to have more than a few Hammett spots around town. My personal favorite is Hammett's apartment from the 1920s at 891 Post Street. Check it out if you're in the mood to celebrate a local icon.
