Ride a bio-diesel bus

No votes yet

By the end of 2007, San Francisco will have converted all their buses to run on bio-diesel. At present, the soy fuel is being shipped in from the Midwest, but the plan is to convert to using recycled cooking oil from restaurants.

Why is this a good date? Riding around on the bus is a perfect way to see the city for $1.50. Plus all the hills and curves make for a bumpy ride: lots of excuses to slide up against your date. Once you get there, wrap an arm around his/her shoulders, breathe in the sweet-smelling fumes of bio-diesel and whisper "Green, baby. Green." Guaranteed turn-on for environmentalists, hippies, anarchists and do-gooders. Just make sure he/she doesn't work for an oil company first.
